Dr. Luke ByrdI was born in Tennessee but didn’t stay there long. Due to my father being a Pastor I spent my childhood in several different locations; Tennessee, Pennsylvania and the Island of Saipan, but I spent half of my childhood in Yakima, WA. I graduated in 2013 from dental school at Loma Linda University and briefly worked in the Nashville area before life worked out to be able to come back to the PNW. North Idaho has always been a favorite place for my wife and me. My wife and I have been together since our senior year of high school. We have three children; one daughter followed by two sons. Our family fully enjoys what all four seasons have to offer! We enjoy spending time at the lakes, camping, boating, and hiking during the summer! We also love the snow and spend time snowboarding, sledding, and sometimes just being at home with our 5 dogs! I love the Silver Valley and the people in it. I feel very lucky to do something that I love with an amazing staff! I hope our staff makes you feel at home every time you are here.
At Silver Valley Dental Care, we have extensive experience in all aspects of modern dentistry. We offer comprehensive dental care, including everything from preventive education & routine hygiene that help to reduce dental problems to expert solutions for the dental issues our patients face–like restorative dentistry–all in one convenient location. We look forward to providing you & your family with the dental excellence you deserve.
Dental implants are a permanent solution for patients seeking that perfect white smile. Implants are a great choice for patients that have broken, damaged, or missing teeth.
A dental emergency can occur at virtually any time, regardless of how well you take care of your smile. Unfortunately, it's not uncommon for many of these emergencies to leave a patient in severe pain and discomfort.
A root canal is a procedure that involves taking out the entire pulp of a tooth. Each of your teeth has a pulp, which is often called the nerve. If this pulp becomes infected by decay or is damaged in any way, it will need to be removed.
Nitrous sedation is ideal for patients who want to be relaxed and calm during their dental appointments. This type of sedative is safe, effective and can be used for patients of all ages.
